Employers of Defence Reservists in the Brisbane region are given a tour of the Flight Deck of HMAS Adelaide.

Brisbane was abuzz with excitement as HMAS Adelaide and USS Ronald Reagan steamed into the city for a short break on the way to the multi-national Exercise TALISMAN SABRE.

Senior officers from Australia’s Pacific neighbours were among representatives from 15 nations who had a closer look at HMAS Adelaide during Exercise TALISMAN SABRE 2019.

Even on a slow day during Exercise TALISMAN SABRE 2019, the average sailor or soldier making their way around HMA Ships Canberra and Adelaide climbed the equivalent of 40 flights of steps and walked six kilometres.

As Exercise TALISMAN SABRE 2019 drew to a close, some of the crew and embarked forces on HMA Ships Adelaide and Canberra tallied up the kilometres they travelled over the course of the exercise without ever leaving the ships.
