Sailors and officers from the Spanish Armada replenishment vessel ESPS Cantabria and the Royal Australian Navy hold a banner in support of the children's charity Variety. A cheque of $550 dollars was presented to NSW Variety at Fleet Base East.

Members of the Spanish Armada and Royal Australian Navy personnel embarked in ESPS Cantabria have raised $550 for Variety the Children’s Charity.

A team from HMAS Coonawarra will hit the road on 31 August in support of the Northern Territory Variety Bash, which will raise funds to empower Northern Territory children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs to live, laugh and learn.

Royal Australian Navy personnel found themselves surrounded by a different sea of blue last week when they took part in the national Jeans for Genes Day to raise funds for research into childhood disease.
