Pouring rain did not dampen the pride of all present when His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove, AK, MC (Retd) Governor General of Australia presented HMAS Success with the Royal Australian Navy’s most prestigious annual award for outstanding performance, the Gloucester Cup.
The exceptional service of twenty Royal Australian Navy personnel has been recognised with honours and awards in the 2015 Queens Birthday Honours List.

Nudgee boy, Lieutenant Brenton-James 'BJ' Glover has been awarded a Conspicuous Service Cross in the Australia Day Honours, recognising his outstanding achievement of as Executive Officer of Landing Craft Heavy ship HMAS Brunei.
Lieutenant Commander Phillip Brown, was one of five Navy personnel to receive the Conspicuous Service Cross in the 2015 Australia Day Honours.
