At the start of October, Mr Chris Demetri was presented with his ‘Secretary’s Award for Long Service’ by the Commanding Officer of HMAS Watson, Captain William Martin.

LEUT Michelle Rayner received Navy’s most prestigious Training Award - the Queen’s Gold Medal - at a presentation at HMAS Waterhen on Thursday 26 September.

The Royal Australian Navy would like to congratulate eight of its members who were awarded honours by The Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, during a series of Investiture Ceremonies held at Government House, Sydney this week.

Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO presents the Gloucester Cup to the Commanding Officer of HMAS Stuart, Commander Jason Hunter RAN onboard the flight deck of HMAS Stuart at Fleet Base East, Sydney.

Recently the prestigious Gloucester Cup was presented to HMAS Anzac’s ship's company, now embarked in HMAS Stuart by the Governor of New South Wales, Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC, CVO.

Weapons Electrical Engineering Officer Commander Phillip Wayne Bell's exceptional achievement of forty years dedicated service to the Royal Australian Navy was recently recognised when Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Ray Griggs, AO, CSC, RAN presented CMDR Bell with the Federation Star.
