HMAS Anzac lines the upper decks as the ship sails past Anzac Cove during the dawn service on the Gallipoli Peninsula.

The Royal Australian Navy helicopter frigate HMAS Anzac represented Australia at the Centenary of Anzac commemorative events at Anzac Cove, Gallipoli.

HMAS Choules junior sailors lay flowers to honour those who have served our nation in a dawn service ceremony for the Centenary of Anzac held on the flight deck of HMAS Choules whilst sailing the South China Sea.

Row by row sailors, soldiers and officers took stock in the stillness of the pre-dawn onboard HMAS Choules' flight deck, to remember the bravery and the courage shown by the ANZACs.

HMAS Canberra Commanding Officer Captain Jonathan Sadleir, AM RAN and Petty Officer Electronics Technician Che Simons lead the ship's company of HMAS Canberra in the Anzac Day march in Hobart, Tasmania.

As the sun rose over the Hobart Cenotaph, members of HMAS Canberra’s ship’s company joined the community to commemorate one hundred years since the first ANZACs landed at Gallipoli.

On the eve of the centenary of the Gallipoli landings, the crew of HMAS Anzac was joined for breakfast by the Prime Minister of Australia, the Honourable Tony Abbott, and the Chief of the Australian Defence Force Air Chief Marshall Mark Binskin, while near Gallipoli, Turkey.

Against the bitterly cold wind of the Turkish Sea of Marmara HMAS Anzac hosted a solemn ceremony to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the actions of the HMAS AE2 crew ahead of the landings at Anzac cove.

While Anzac Day is traditionally a very busy time for HMAS Albatross, in Nowra, New South Wales, the centenary year has brought an increase in requests for catafalque parties, honour guards, speakers.

The compound which is home to Australia’s Federation Guard in Canberra is, on any given day, a hive of activity, but in the days preceding the Centenary of Anzac, to say the guard has picked up the pace would be an understatement.

The RAN Band – Sydney Detachment had its Centenary of Anzac event when its woodwind quintet participated in an Anzac service at Brooklyn in Sydney on 12 April.
