Keren Short breaks out a sea shanty during the ADF Arts for Recovery, Resilience, Teamwork and Skills Program (ARRTS).

The Australian Defence Force Arts for Recovery, Resilience, Teamwork and Skills program has wrapped up at the University of Canberra recently with a showcase performance and gallery viewing of the works produced throughout the course.

Fleet Air Arm Museum Director, Terry Hetherington reads through the journal entry for the morning of the 21st May1966, where two Iroquois helicopters from HMAS Albatross responded to a Mayday call from WD Atlas.

The last survivor of the 1966 sinking of dredge, WD Atlas has donated dramatic footage of the rescue operation to the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

The Royal Australian Navy has marked the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Jutland with a commemorative service at the Navy Memorial in Canberra.

HMAS Ballarat ship's company led by Commanding Officer, Commander David Landon CSM, RAN, challenged by local Police Superintendant Mr Andrew Allen at the Ballarat Town Hall during it's Freedom of Entry.

In a time honoured tradition officers and sailors from Royal Australian Navy warship HMAS Ballarat exercised a Freedom of Entry to their namesake city on 29 May.

The Australian Ex Services Atomic Survivors Association visited HMAS Stirling recently, as the group was in Western Australia preparing to travel to the site of the atomic tests at the Monte Bello Islands in the 1950s.

Australia's Federation Guard members rest on arms during the service at the Hellenic - Australian park in Rethymno, part of the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Crete Commemoration services held across the Island of Crete.

The immense courage and sacrifice by Australian and New Zealand troops fighting in the Battle of Crete has been remembered in the battle’s 75th anniversary commemorations.
