Commanding Officer HMAS Adelaide, Captain Jonathan Earley, CSC, RAN, salutes the Royal Australian Navy Ensign at the memorial service for HMAS Canberra (I) on HMAS Adelaide during Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2018.

A service has been held on HMAS Adelaide to commemorate the sinking of HMAS Canberra (I) as the ship passed over the site while transiting to Honiara in the Solomon Islands during Indo-Pacific Endeavour 18.

HMAS Rankin's crew on the submarine's casing for the committal at sea ceremony for Leading Seaman Auxiliary Technician Alfred John James Meek, Chief Petty Officer Patrick Brian John Toogood and Able Seaman Patrick Anthony Robert Heffernan in Cockburn Sound, Western Australia.

Members from HMAS Rankin, the Collins Class submarine based in Western Australia, recently conducted the scattering of ashes of three former Royal Navy submariners.

Despite being keen to commence her Middle East mission, as HMAS Warramunga departed for her deployment recently the crew took a special moment on the flight deck to commit the ashes of Able Seaman Douglas Reginald Phillips to the sea.
