On her way home to Fleet Base West from the warmer climes of the South West Pacific, HMAS Sirius rendezvoused with east-based HMA Ships Hobart and Choules in the waters off Jervis Bay for a replenishment at sea.

In waters off the coast of Townsville, HMAS Canberra and units of the Australian Army’s 3rd Brigade, 2nd Cavalry Regiment and 3rd Combat Service Support Battalion successfully completed trials to transport an M1A1 Main Battle Tank ashore using an LHD Landing Craft.
