The Darwin community turned out in droves to watch more than 100 officers and sailors from HMAS Coonawarra perform Ceremonial Divisions and a Sunset Ceremony at the iconic Mindil Beach recently.

Officers and sailors from east based ships and establishments parade on the flight deck of HMAS Canberra during Fleet Divisions at Garden Island, Sydney.

With great fanfare, more than 1,500 officers and sailors have lined the decks of HMAS Canberra in the Australian Fleet’s 2017 Ceremonial Divisions.

About 100 Royal Australian Navy officers and sailors turned on a display of professionalism and precision when they conducted Ceremonial Divisions and a Sunset Ceremony to crowds at Mindil Beach Markets, Darwin, recently.

A platoon from HMAS Stirling 'Eyes Right' as they march past the Chief of Navy (CN), Vice Admiral Timothy Barrett, AO, CSC, RAN during CN's Ceremonial Divisions held at HMAS Stirling.

The conduct of divisions is a time-honoured tradition which continued recently south of Perth with more than 1,300 personnel from HMAS Stirling, resident units, and all Fleet Base West home-ported ships and submarines parading on the main sports field.

Head of Navy Engineering, Rear Admiral Michael Uzzell, AM, RAN, returns a salute during the Engineering Ceremonial Divisions held at HMAS Cerberus, Victoria.

Head of Navy Engineering, Rear Admiral Michael Uzzell, presided over Ceremonial Divisions for more than 350 engineering officers and sailors on 2 December in honour of the inaugural Navy Engineering Week.

Reviewing Officer, Commander Australian Fleet, Rear Admiral Stuart Mayer, CSC and Bar, RAN, is given an 'Eyes Right' during Ceremonial Divisions, held at HMAS Cerberus, Victoria.

More than 700 sailors, soldiers, airmen and women stood proudly on parade at HMAS Cerberus to observe the tradition of Ceremonial Divisions on 13 March.

The graduating engineering officers from RMIT form the guard of honour for the Combined RMIT Graduation Parade and Ceremonial Divisions at HMAS Cerberus.

HMAS Cerberus recently held its final Ceremonial Divisions parade of 2013, combined with the graduation of eleven RMIT Engineering Officers who proudly made up the Guard, which was inspected by the Reviewing Officer, newly promoted Rear Admiral Michael Noonan.

The ship’s company of HMAS Albatross paraded for inspection by Reviewing Officer, Rear Admiral Anthony Dalton and HMAS Albatross Commanding Officer, Captain Gordon Andrew, in the long-standing tradition of Ceremonial Divisions on Friday 1 November 2013.
