Lieutenant Commander Calvin Timms, RAN, is presented the Vice Admiral Viscount Lord Nelson KB Trafalgar Bicentennial Sword of Excellence by Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Michael Noonan, AO, RAN, and Nelson Society of Australia Chairman, Mike Sargeant, during a lunch at the Sir James Stirling Mess at HMAS Stirling.

The former Operations Officer of HMAS Waller has been awarded the 2018 Admiral Nelson Sword of Excellence for displaying qualities of outstanding seagoing leadership.

Sub Lieutenant Dean Gazzola gives Mr John Sharp from Defence Veterans Affairs, Mr Eddie Koza and his sons Alex and Luke a tour of HMAS Waller during the Port of Fremantle Maritime Day held on Victoria Quay in Fremantle.

With the decks swabbed and the bulkheads scrubbed, submarine HMAS Waller featured quayside for all to see during Maritime Day in the working Port of Fremantle.
